While the latest fashion may look great, it can often prove to be pretty impractical. The last thing a woman wants is to pay a fortune for a dress or shoes, only to suffer a wardrobe malfunction. A Clare-based startup wants to provide relief when things go wrong.
Launched last week, SecretFashionFixes.ie aims to provide women with innovative solutions to fix fashion problem. The online retailer was set up by Dee Fitzgerald.
“We are a one stop shop for problem solving fashion emergency products for ladies,” said Dee Fitzgerald. “We have an array of innovative and quirky products that solve various fashion dilemmas that every woman can relate to. Many of our products have never been available in Ireland before. We have a range of products ranging from clothing to shoe accessories.”
The idea came to Fitzgerald after visiting a store in Nashville and found an array of fashion emergency products which were not available in Ireland. Fitzgerald saw an opportunity to bring the products into the Irish market.
There are over 100 different products available on the site. Fitzgerald sourced the products from small suppliers around the globe, with some of the products imported from as far afield as Australia and the US.
“Each product listed on SecretFashionFixes.ie has been carefully selected with the greatest of care,” said Fitzgerald. “We have personally tried and tested all of the products. Most of our suppliers are small ones who came up with an invention. A lot of women don’t know many of these products exist. We have had a really positive response so far.”
